Heather Davies Photography respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information is collected through this website, why it is used and the choices you have.
Who is responsible for your information?
Heather Davies Photography is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. If you have a question or want to exercise one of your privacy rights, email heathercdavies@gmail.com.
Information collected
When you use the contact form, you may provide:
- your name, email address and telephone number;
- the type, preferred date and location of your photography enquiry; and
- anything else you choose to include in your message.
The website’s hosting provider may also process limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and request logs, to deliver and protect the website.
How and why your information is used
Your information is used to:
- respond to your enquiry and discuss the photography services you are interested in;
- take steps at your request before entering into a contract; and
- keep the website secure and working correctly.
The lawful bases relied on are taking steps before a contract and legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, operating the business and protecting the website. Where there is a legal obligation to retain information, that obligation is also relied on.
Your information is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who receives your information?
Contact-form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, the website’s hosting provider. Netlify may also process technical logs needed to host and secure the site. Form notifications are delivered to a Gmail account provided by Google. These providers process information on behalf of Heather Davies Photography to deliver the website and enquiries.
Personal information will not otherwise be sold or shared, except where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Information about their international transfer arrangements and safeguards is available in their own privacy information. You can read more in Google’s privacy policy.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage a client relationship and meet legal, tax or accounting obligations. Information that is no longer needed will be deleted or anonymised.
Cookies
This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If analytics or other optional cookies are added in future, this notice and any required cookie controls will be updated first.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to its use, and receive a portable copy. Email heathercdavies@gmail.com to make a request.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. If you object, please explain what concerns you so the request can be considered properly.
